Watford set to appoint Flores

Newly-promoted Watford are to confirm the appointment of former Atletico Madrid boss Quique Sanchez Flores as their new manager later on Friday. The Hornets had been in talks to extend the contract of Slavisa Jokanovic, who had guided the club into the Premier League. However, after those negotiations broke down over the Serb's salary demands, Watford moved to secure the services of Sanchez Flores.
