Tim Sherwood credits West Brom after they beat his Villa side

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood agreed that his side were second best after watching them lose 1-0 at home to local rivals West Brom. However, Sherwood thinks his side have generally been playing well this season and that it is too early in the campaign to worry too much. Villa struggled to create chances throughout against the well-organised visitors and Saido Berahino struck just before the break to leave them chasing the game.And Sherwood paid tribute to the Baggies, who are proving hard to break down away from home this season. Asked what his feelings were after the match, Sherwood said: "Disappointment that we didn't perform. I think West Brom deserved the result. They came and did a good job on us. "We did not express ourselves enough on them. I thought we were a little better in the second period, we had a few more balls into the box. "I need to watch it back and there are obviously some problems from this game but our performances over this period of the season have been encouraging, we just have not got enough points.
