Southampton travel to Stoke off the back of their 2-0 home win over struggling Hull last Saturday as they continue their attempts to secure European qualification for next season.
The Saints currently sit sixth in the Premier League table, just a point behind Liverpool in fifth and five behind the final Champions League spot occupied by Manchester City.
Stoke, meanwhile, will attempt to bring an end to a slump that has seen them go without a win in their last four games - drawing at West Ham last time out after three straight defeats. They currently lie in tenth, and could drop out of the top half of the table this weekend.
Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the game as Southampton beat Stoke at St Mary's in the Premier League in October, and just four days later Ronald Koeman's side also knocked the Potters out of the Capital One Cup with a 3-2 win at the Britannia Stadium.
Team news
Stoke boss Mark Hughes will be without defender Marc Muniesa and winger Victor Moses. Muniesa misses out due to a slight hamstring strain, while on-loan Moses has returned to parent club Chelsea because of a hamstring problem of his own that is expected to keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.
Defenders Marc Wilson and Erik Pieters are both nursing knocks to the wrist but Hughes is hopeful the pair will be available for the visit of the Saints.
Southampton pair Victor Wanyama and Filip Djuricic will miss the trip to the Potters.
Kenya midfielder Wanyama will serve a one-match ban after picking up a 10th booking of the season in last weekend's win against Hull - a match Djuricic missed with an ankle complaint which keeps him sidelined.
Boss Koeman can call upon defender Florin Gardos again, although Fraser Forster, Jay Rodriguez and Emmanuel Mayuka remain absent.
